The College of Media at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) organized a training course entitled “Characteristics of a Television Reporter and the Art of Dealing with the Camera”, presented by Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Khatib and Assistant Lecturer Hazem Fadel.

The course covered three main axes: the personal axis, which includes the personal qualities and charisma that a successful reporter should possess; the professional axis, which is represented by the professional standards and ethics in field work and news coverage; and the technical axis, which includes skills in dealing with the camera this includes choosing the right angles for shooting, the correct way to stand in front of the lens, as well as using smartphones to produce and edit quick news coverage.

This course comes as part of a series of training and development programs offered by the College of Media to its dear students, in an effort to build a media generation capable of keeping pace with modern technologies while maintaining sound professional and academic principles.
