The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science organized a scientific visit for third-year students to the Library of the Holy Al-Kadhimiya Shrine, as part of its commitment to supporting academic activities and enhancing students’ research skills.

The visit included an introductory tour of the library’s sections, where students were introduced to the organization of scientific resources and the services provided to researchers. They also learned about cataloguing systems and how to access specialized and digital references related to physics and medical sciences.

The visit also included the honor of visiting the shrine of the two Imams Al-Kadhimayn (peace be upon them), which contributed to strengthening the students’ religious and intellectual awareness.

The visit aimed to develop students’ abilities to effectively use academic information resources and employ them in preparing scientific research, thereby supporting their academic progress and enhancing the practical aspect of their specialization.

This visit is part of a series of scientific activities that the department seeks to organize in cooperation with the Library of the Holy Al-Kadhimiya Shrine, with the aim of advancing students’ knowledge and research capabilities.
