The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa participated in the Conference of the Defence University for Postgraduate Studies, which was attended by a NATO representative and the Vice President of the American University, with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation in support of enhancing Iraq’s national and military security system.

During the conference, the University highlighted the importance of developing educational and research programmes in line with Goal 4 (Quality Education), by supporting specialised academic pathways in the fields of security and defence. The University also emphasised the need to contribute to reinforcing the work of state institutions in accordance with Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), through evidence-based perspectives that enhance the effectiveness of national structures.

The University further addressed the importance of expanding international cooperation with leading global academic centres, in line with Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), to enrich expertise and strengthen future capabilities.

The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa affirmed that its participation forms part of its ongoing efforts to support the Iraqi state through rigorous academic approaches that contribute to enhancing stability and building national capacities.
